Vizille is centrally located in the Isère region at the base of the French Alps. Chateau de Cornage is perfectly positioned to many of the main skiing hot spots like Alpe d’Huez, Col de Croix de Fer and le Galibier. It is only 5 kilometers away from Grenoble on Napoleon Route.
The town Vizille was the driving force behind the French revolution in 1789 and Chateau de Cornage was built in 1779, 10 years prior to this, which is stated in the cozy lounge above open fireplace. A free, permanent exhibition of the well known French Revolution stories is in large Chateau de Vizille. Chateau de Cornage was built by Greyffier du Bellecombe. All the trees around the property were planted around this time which also give a sense in history.
With great pleasure we will welcome you to the Chateau in the Grand Café or on large sunny terrace. Our well groomed staff speak English, French and Dutch.
We have 17 luxurious rooms and the possibility of accommodating groups of up to 40 people.
Every room has it’s own bathroom with either a show or bath, toilet and hand bassen.
All rooms have own Television.
